En los tiempos bíblicos, los israelitas realizaban tres viajes anuales hacia Jerusalén; y viajaban cantando. Entonaban salmos especiales para los viajes, que aludían a la protección de Dios. Eran llamados los “cánticos de los peregrinos”, porque los entonaban cuando peregrinaban hacia aquella ciudad, y los “cánticos de las subidas”, porque los volvían a entonar cuando ascendían las escalinatas del templo.

Este libro trata acerca de viajar con fe y certidumbre, cantando, como los israelitas hacia Jerusalén, seguros de la protección divina, sabiendo que vamos hacia la Patria celestial, donde nos aguarda nuestro Padre Para darnos la vida eterna.

In Biblical times, the Israelites made three annual trips to Jerusalem; and they traveled singing. They sang special psalms for travel, alluding to God's protection. They were called the "songs of the pilgrims" because they sang them when they made a pilgrimage to that city, and the "songs of the ascents", because they sang them again when they ascended the steps of the temple.

Life is a journey through time. Just like every journey, it has a destination: the Father's house in heaven.

When there is no certainty of this glorious destiny, life acquires a tragic feeling; the end is foreseen, the grave is anticipated, and nothing is feared. You cannot travel singing under the shadow of skepticism and disbelief.

This book is about traveling with faith and certainty, singing, like the Israelites towards Jerusalem, sure of divine protection, knowing that we are going towards the heavenly Homeland, where our Father awaits us to give us eternal life.
