I bought this hymnal about 10-15 years ago, because in family worship I wanted my children and me to be able to sing songs and know the words. Also, sometimes GOD puts a song into my mind from the past and as I am getting older there is a lot to remember and the hymnal helps my memory. It is interesting all the songs I remember as a child, teenager, student, young adult and a parent growing up and older in the Seventh Day Adventist church. It is great to look back and see all the words of a song rather than the first and last stanza. My hymnal is worth many times over what I paid for it.It has been a great blessing to me. No, I can not play a musical instrument or nor do I have a beautiful singing voice, but I can praise God through the words and music anyway. He knows me and understands who and what I am.
