How do prophets do their work? Was Ellen White wrong to use the writings of others? What shall we do with charges of plagiarism against her?

Description / The White Truth

How do prophets do their work? Was Ellen White wrong to use the writings of others? What shall we do with charges of plagiarism against her?

Through the years there have been questions raised in the public press and within the Seventh-day Adventist church regarding the authority of the prophetic gift of Ellen G. White. The author discusses these issues as objectively as possible, focusing on the theme of the authority of the prophetic gift rather than concentrating on details.

The White Truth constructively deals with issues rather than personalities.

Excellent brief treatment of Ellen White's integrity in the use of literary sources
Review by
Written nearly 40 years ago by pastor and academic John J. Robertson, THE WHITE TRUTH was published in anticipation of Walter Rea's book, THE WHITE LIE. Even after all these years, it still holds up to current research.
