Miguel Valdivia is editorial director for International Publications at Pacific PRess Publishing Association, in Nampa, Idaho, and is editor of El Centinela, the Spanish language missionary journal for North America. In 1970, he immigrated with his parents to the United States from Cuba. He has served in teh pastorate on several church committees, and holds an MA in religion from Andrews University, and a PhD in education form the University of Idaho. He has written three books and dozens of articles.
His first college degree was in biology, and life sciences remain a lifelong interest. A recent grandfather, he and his wife, Olga, enjoy gardening, traveling, and reading. They have three grown children and two grandchildren.
