Karl and Claire Haffner are from Kettering, Ohio, where Dad pastors the Kettering Seventh-day Adventist Church and daughter attends Spring Valley Academy. Claire is in seventh grade, while Karl has finished seventh grade (and eventually graduated with two master’s degrees and a doctorate). Together they (mostly Claire) love listening to Down Gilead Lane and riding roller coasters at King’s Island (mostly Karl). They share a love for sermons by Morrie Venden.
