Humberto M. Rasi completed a PhD in Hispanic literature and history at Stanford University, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. He served as professor and dean of graduate studies at Andrews University, and world director of the Education Department for the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He co-founded the Institute for Christian Teaching, and launched the journal College and University Dialogue. Although retired, he continues to lecture, publish, and coordinate projects in international higher education.
