Man today is not on the road which God in His great love planned for him. We were led off the path He had ordained for our peace by the enemy that led us into disobedience to God. We are temporarily on a detour. Like Israel of old, we are in the wilderness, aimlessly wandering because we refuse to follow God’s guidance. In His Holy Word, God has given us a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night to guide us to more useful and purposeful lives. Christ says, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” But having access to this abundant life is not enough. A mere theory of religion can never satisfy the longings of the heart that yearns for God.

If you have not already found “the peace of God, which passes all understanding,” it is hoped that you will find it as you study God’s Plan for Your Life, and the Bible to which it directs you.
