Dan Solis married his college sweetheart and today they live in College Place, Washington, where he serves the College Place Village Church as the youth and young adult pastor. Dan and his wife have three adult children and two grandchildren living in Washington, California, and Tennessee. His interests include coaching cross-country and track and field, gardening, writing, drama, and music,  He credits his parents with passing on hardworking values of his migrant farmworker and sharecropping grandparents. He praises God for the gifts of his family, the Bible, salvation through Jesus Christ, and the promise of His soon return.
